Posting Rules

Hello bloggers!  Please be sure to follow these rules with all your posts:

1. Think of a fake name for yourself to use in all your posts     
    a. Example: My Day in the Sun - by Judgemental Bacon
2. No personal information may be shared about yourself through the blog - What is personal?
        . Where you live
        . Names of anyone you actually know
        . Where you go to school or work
        . Any identifiers for yourself like: phone, social security numbers, birthdays
        . The same applies to your family
3. Words
        . No profanity
        . No plagiarism (copying other people's work and calling it your own)
        . Referencing other people's work is OK if you have appropriate permission or citation
4. Farts and poop references are OK in moderation
5. For the first 3 blogs you write, you will not publish them, but save them as a draft for review
        . Your editor will review this policy after the first 3 blogs
6. Use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation
7. You may post photos, but they cannot include yourself, or anything that identifies you by gender, age, or location
8. You may not post photos from other locations that could get us not legal problems
9. You cannot delete other people's posts
10. You cannot share login information with other people

I couldn't think about much to say about the coronavirus, but maybe that says something.  My mother appears to think this is some important, monumental change that is shaking the foundation on which my life is built.  But it isn't.  Maybe it is for her, or other people, but not for me.  Maybe I'm just a kid who doesn't understand what's happening, and why it's important.  That could be partly true.  I'm not a toddler, and can comprehend most things around me, but I haven't been around for that long in comparison to others.  Maybe I can't understand that this is a crazy change that should  shake the foundation on which my life is built.  But is that such a bad thing? I have a theory, that since as kids, we are shaken up so much, we can roll with things as they come up more than others who who have settled down into a solid routine, which is part of a never-changing life plan.  Personally, I have no idea what's going on ever.  Basic...

Happy Mother's Day - by Pressure Canner

On Mother's Day, the mother prepared some food to eat.  Her family protested as they licked their lips and said, "you shouldn't have gone to all the trouble."  She said "No trouble, I just pulled a couple of things from the freezer."  Then she looked at them, started eating some pie, and said "what will you be having for dinner?"
